This Sterling Silver salt shaker was found buried in the mud. It had several dents and was severely corroded. After first removing the dents, it was soaked in a cleaning solution. Then, it was buffed on a buffing wheel to remove all the surface scratches, and finally sent to the polishing wheel to give it a high-polish finish.
This baby spoon was dropped down the garbage disposal and had seen better days. After some hammering, reshaping, filing and polishing, it looks as good as new.
This three-light candelabra needed a good solder, some dents removed, and some professional polishing. Now it looks as good as new.
This hand mirror was in rough shape when it was dropped off at Lawrence Miller & Co., for restoration. After removing some dents, and silverplating, it almost looks like a new piece.
Not only did these wieghted candlesticks need to be refilled with resin, but they had essentially been crushed at the base. Using many different shaping tools, Lawrence was able to restore them to their original form. From there, he filled the base with resin, reset the bottoms, and finished them with a high polish. The result is stunning.
These Sterling wine coasters had been crushed and were seemingly beyond repair. Using several hammers and other shaping tools, Lawrence was able to restore this beautiful pieces back to their original shape. They now have many more generations of use ahead of them.
